Police forum..

Attended a forum between police and residents yesterday.. First time attending such a thing.. Thought would be boring at first but at least I managed to increase my general knowledge about common stuff.. Furthermore, the OCPD of Seremban is a real joker.. Can really crack jokes, not to mention he can speak at least 4-5 languages.. Cool!! XD

Well, here I am to share a few things that most of us (including myself) didn't know..

1) If a unfamiliar and suspicious person enter your area, like say Taman, and if u r an RT member; u have the right to ask him "What the hell are u doing here?" If he ignores u, u can call the cops immediately.. It seems this is the Rakyat's rights.. (didn't know got such right also.. LOL!!)

2) Police can enter your house without a warrant.. This country ain't like Hong Kong, US or UK where a warrant is needed.. All they need is somebody with the rank Inspector and that's that, they can enter your house..

3) Say a thief enter's into your house, he was threatening your life and u acted in self-defense, accidentally killing him.. Now I know there's a saying 1 hit is self-defense, 2 hit is murder.. Here, regardless u hit him 100 times, ur still innocent cause u felt threatened.. LOL!!

4) Be careful of nearby syndicates.. Since my readers are mostly from Seremban, here are some new updates.. There's a Chinese syndicate who dress like professionals, drive big cars and come to your house to ask u for directions or something.. Also, there's an Indian syndicate who go from house to house with children, offering peace prayers for your house.. Next is a Malay syndicate who ride on motorbikes, with backpacks and also ask you for directions.. Advice: DON'T LAYAN!!

5) Identifying fake policeman: This no need to be said much, I think we all know how don't we? Plus there was an article about it.. Just a thing or 2, if u want to be sure it's the real deal, u can ask him to show his ID to you.. After that u can take it and ask him some questions like what's his ID Number or what's his rank (got some special rank there) or even if he is married or not (now tat's cool).. If he fails any this, TADAA, he's a fake!!

6) Police do more rounds at your neighborhood than your parents do.. So don't complain "I never see policeman patrolling my area before".. They have a complicated system but every single detail of their patrol is log on.. So if u have any doubts, u can go to the HQ and ask them yourselves.. =p

7) SMS syndicates, phone syndicates.. U know the one that sends you "Taniah, sim card anda telah menang bla bla bla.." shit?? Just ignore it.. Also, there seems to be a new one; now they call you saying that they are from a bank and u got some problem, need to call a number to clarify.. The moment u call that number, u are instantly tranced and then you are blur.. When u come around, u find your savings disappear.. This was a testimony from a guy yesterday.. Sadly, nothing can't be done except to ignore it if u find it suspicious or u don't even have an account with that said bank..

8) On ah longs, some of u might wonder how come the all out war against them has really slowed down and the posters are back up again.. Apparently the police are not in charge to take down the posters, that's for the City Council to do it.. Police only assist them... However, they did say if u find anyone sticking those posters, not the motor vehicle number and give it to the police.. They'll handle it..

Lastly, our police force is very wide awake, they are not sleeping on their jobs.. In fact my respect for them has increased thanks to yesterday's forum.. They really know what's going on, they just need time and for the Rakyat to cooperate with them in these criminal matters..

Another thing I noted was that all the top brass are very well mannered and down to earth people.. They're not arrogant like some of the normal policeman are.. Guess that's why they are the top brass and those arrogant policeman are still normal policeman.. Haha!!

P.S: There are a few more but they are personal things, like threatening, getting police reports, etc and hence they are not put up here.. =)
