Raya, Merdeka n Mooncakes..

Getting lazier n lazier to blog these days.. Haha.. Guess I'm just too old for these things?? Nah.. XD Typical behavior.. When you start something new, it'll be all hot and fresh.. Then as the day, weeks and months go by the fire within u begins to die down till *poof* it extinguishes.. My blog is somewhere I think we need more firewood, like LOADS OF IT!!! =p

Currently I'm having my holidays.. I know, potong stim rite?? 2 weeks of study than holiday ady.. And it didn't started off well.. Note to self: Never eat food from a highway rest stop unless it's from convenient store or KFC.. == I was down with headaches, fever, cough and diarrhea; one after another.. The diarrhea was the worst, no less than 10 times.. I wanted to lose weight during the holidays but not this way.. o.o Anyhow I thank God for putting His hand of healing on me and curing my diarrhea as fast as it came (ie within 24hours).. After that I ate like I didn't eat for ages.. How to lose weight?? ==

BBQ gathering with my F6 buddies.. Was so good to see a few of them after soooo long.. Some never seen for a year.. Haha.. And the BBQ session turned into a grilling session pulak.. Guess no one likes the hot flames.. =p We celebrated 3 celebrations in 1 go; Raya, Merdeka and Mooncake Festival.. LOL!! Regardless how old we are, we still can be a crazy bunch of people.. I guess that's the only way we can keep our sanity no thanks to our hectic lives.. =S

Holidays are passing like a breeze.. Sometimes I wonder why can't normal days pass as fast as this.. The only time when time goes fast is when ur having fun or when ur cranking ur brain for exams.. O.o Then again, if holidays were too long I'll be bored too.. I'm such a complainer.. LOL!!

Wow, now suddenly got strong gust of winds in my place.. Better sign out first before my internet collapses.. XD Toodles!! =D

End of my holidays.. T.T or =D

Well, my holidays are fast approaching to an end.. In another 24 hours I'll be leaving for AIMST.. Or actually halfway there.. Stopping by at Kulim for a night before going back.. Haha.. However this holidays has been a good one.. Not too long, not too short.. Thou somehow I'm beginning to get accustom of not having to sit n study every night.. >.<

Met some old friends which I have not seen for a long time, catch up with people that I missed the most, head to places where I have never been in ages.. Yup.. Tat's probably my holidays.. And finally finished reading The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown about 10 mins ago.. Haha.. Finally it is done after 1 year I bought that book.. Blame it both on my laziness n my tight schedule.. =p

3rd year.. What am I to expect? Interesting stuff I hope.. =) I'll be starting with Surgery posting and as I have heard, it is one of the most interesting postings out there.. Guess it will be cool to see various types of surgeries n stuff that can be cured by it.. Of course I have to prepare myself better, no more last minute studying, no more going out the night before exam, no more excessive computer hours n randomness.. Yeah right.. That defines me.. Haha.. However I do hope one thing, TO LOSE WEIGHT!! Damn it I gained like freaking 5kgs.. O.o Time to hit the tart shop, er I meant track.. XD

Also I hope to improve my spiritual life.. I still feel it's stuck at the same level since year 2.. =.=" Really need to improve on it.. Pray more often, read the Word more often.. Do something that's worthwhile at least.. And of course to help in every way either in church or in CF.. No more helping around campus, I think the 2 years I have sacrifice to so many events here is more than enough.. Heck, all I wanted to do was to come to study and stay low profile.. Guess that worked pretty well, didn't it?? *sarcasm*

Since there are still fellow readers out there reading my blog, silently or not, I guess I'll keep this blog running.. Sorry for breaking my promise of updating it constantly, guess laziness and an empty mind got the better of me.. I guess there'll be an interesting update tomorrow.. Haha.. Just a teaser, it's about my idea of the grass is greener over the other side.. *refer to my FB status* XD

P.S. To all my friends who are sitting for their supplementary examination in about 5 hours time, be strong and just do it k.. U have done ur preparations well, now it's just the final battle in order to move forward.. God is with you in everything that you do.. =)

Earth Hour 2011

Earth Hour has always bear a special resemblance to the world ever since it started in Sydney, Australia back in 2007. I was glad that I was able to do it with my family for the first time cause:

1) 2008 missed it caused was out eating steamboat

2) 2009 missed it caused was dead sick on the bed

3) 2010 missed it cause I was in campus.. LOL!!

So finally got my parents to turn off all non essential lighting at home + any other electrical appliances that we don't need.. Means I went without computer for an hour.. Haha.. Achievement wei considering I'm back home.. During that one hour was really a period of reflection for me as I picture how can the whole Earth be saved if each of us just do a small part.. And I figured why just make Earth Hour a yearly event? Why not an everyday event? Hehe.. Kinda make sense rite?? Imagine if all non essential lights are turned off everyday, won't that really save up the electricity bill, the amount of heat we're emitting and thus saving the Earth? =p

Also in conjunction with Earth Day, I'm working with my old school on a project that can at least bring some joy for Mother Earth.. She has been long suffering, so we should do something to ease her pain.. Back to the drawing board Jason.. =S

Lastly, I figured out TNBs way of contributing to Earth Hour.. By making my taman have a blackout for 4 hours.. Right on midnight.. LOL!! Turns out a substation blew at my place.. Can't sleep wei, damn hot.. Best part is I slept without realising the current finally came back.. Woke up shivering cause the air cond was on.. LOL!! I guess my bro forgot to turn it off when the current went off.. =p

Will be a busy few days as starting to meet up with my frens.. And a camp coming up.. Hopefully a few more updates before I go back AIMST.. Hehe.. =D

Holiday!!!

ITZ HOLIDAYS PPL!!!!

Well, for me it is.. Haha.. Really taking this time to rest up and prepare myself for the next 2 systems before I straight kaboom to finals.. T.T Nevertheless, that can worry itself later.. (except for the fact that my CNS results will be out in about 16 hours.. Oh, that's not helping at all..)

So how did I kicked start my holidays?? To IPOH of course.. Now, Penang is not the only place with great food.. Ipoh and Melaka are other places too.. And as said in the last sentence, it was an eating spree + a bit of sight seeing.. Well, I was the driver so I was seeing all the time.. LOL!!

Waking up 4.30am was probably not the most ideal way to start your holidays.. But it pays off if u get to enjoy the rest of the day.. Act I'm still feeling the effects of it.. Haha.. Went to a few main places to eat.. Had dim sum, white coffee, yong tau foo, tau fu fa and chicken tauge.. Plus had a very early starter in Sungai Bakap.. Dunno how to pronounce it but I sure do know what izit (and how to get there now) Haha..

Overall the trip was great.. It's been awhile since I went out like that with my buddies.. And it was a good blend of ppl also.. With the Silent Killer, the Long John, the Lame Joker, Miss 511 and others.. Haha.. Now everyone seems to be having names.. Luckily I don't have one yet, I hope.. XD

So how about the rest of the holidays?? Er.. Eat, sleep, watch TV, online.. And yeah, my SSM.. Crap.. Need to start soon or not I'll be totally regretting later.. And also a double birthday celebration for my dad and my bro.. A camp to attend just before my holiday ends.. And last but not least catching up with all my frens who are around in S'ban.. LOL

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!!

Hello 2011!!

OK, I'm late like 2 days but who cares.. It's still young in the year.. And before we all know it, 2012 comes along.. Haha.. But let's leave that till Dec'11.. For now, let us enjoy the year ahead.. =)

I'm back in AIMST again.. LOL!! To some ppl, yes, my holiday is really really short.. In fact, my finals break will be only 3 weeks.. So yeah, kinda sucks but no choice when ur in the line.. Hehe.. Part of me is glad to be back cause I get to go back to studying the thing I love.. And also can to c her.. Hehe.. Part of me just wanna stay at home, sleep whole day, play Dota and yam cha.. LOL!!

So usually people always make new year resolutions don't there? And we probably break the same number of resolutions that we make.. LOL!! So what's mine u all may ask?? None I guess.. To me, why make a resolution for a year only? Why not make one every month? Or every week? Like not procrastinate, be a better BF, a better son, worship God more, etc? So yeah, no resolutions for me, I'll be trying to improve myself daily..Hehe..

New Year in S'ban was kinda boring, no fireworks, no celebrations, no nothing.. Cutting budget I think.. So yeah, all I get to see was personal fireworks.. The one that goes bang, boom for 30secs and that's that.. LOL!! So was a modest 2011 so far for me.. Not for long thou, with the new CNS system coming up in my medicine studies, I'll be busy as a bee.. Or worse.. Haha..

So there u have it.. Nothing much to update.. And probably not much in the future as I begin classes again.. Hopefully the next update is not so far in the future.. LOL!!

And how have your Christmas been people? =)

Once again, another year bids us goodbye, while another is going to say hello.. 2010 is leaving, 2011 is coming.. And well, I guess the next post after this will be about my summary of the year 2010.. Hehe

The 1st week of my holidays is pretty quiet.. OK, not that quiet since my relatives came down for a week but pretty boring as in I was on the lappie most of the time? LOL!! I really need to find a better way to spend my life instead of sitting in front of my laptop 24/7.. Haha.. Hopefully this week will be better since i'm having tons of yam cha sessions.. LOL!!

Apart from that, I haven't started my Special Study Module (SSM).. What in the world is this u might ask?? Say it's another fancy word for assignment.. Haha.. Basically we do a report, dunno how long about things that we probably won't learn in medical school.. It doesn't have to be medically related, it's just a study/survey/experiment on stuff that you like.. LOL!! And what am I interested in? Male menopause.. Wakaka.. Something rather interesting, since it might affect me in the future!! Haha!! Probably will post it up once I'm done.. XD

So very little update from me.. Actually a lot but I'm lazy to type it out.. Plus most of them are personal, if it's not me, it's my friends, family, etc.. So until the next post.. =)

Onward to 2nd yea....

6 weeks passed so fast.. And so many things I haven't done yet.. LOL!! Not yet finish reading my novels, not yet watch any of my downloaded series, not yet even prepare my sharing for CF coming September.. Haha.. So what have I've been doing?? Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!! XD

Guess I can say I'm looking forward to MBBS 2nd year.. New things to learn, new experiences, new friends to make (on this part, I mean juniors to bully!! XD) And also, to spend more time with HER!! =D Seriously, I feel that we're going stronger.. Guess that 'cool down' period wat good for the both of us.. Let's hope it last for a lifetime k.. =)

So here's to me, a 2nd year medical student.. Haha.. And I still haven't pack.. LOL!! But as I begin my new journey (well, a continuation actually); my blog will be inactive again.. Unless I find time.. Seriously, this is like the most active month for my blog.. LOL!!

Gotta go and pack now.. Sometimes I wish I had magic so that all this can just pack themselves.. *thinks about Soc App* Nah, better not.. XD

Ipoh...

Came back from Ipoh on Saturday.. It was a very nice trip indeed.. The purpose that I went up there was to attend the Hillsong's concert at Syuen Hotel, Ipoh.. Haha.. Mission accomplished! Or partly only as I was at the concert for only 2 hours.. Can't complaint much since I was not the driver.. LOL!!

Also we (me, Wen Shan and Kenny) went up to Cameron Highlands.. It was just for the sake of going up I guess, haha.. Sadly, Cameron is no longer as cold as it used to be.. 25 degrees.. I'm like WTH!! It rained thou, so that at least make up for the not so cold weather earlier on.. Hehe..

Not to mention that I met a few new friends.. All thanks to Kenny and Wen Shan.. Met people like Hoho (i think that's his name, LOL!!) Vern, Kah Ling, David.. Very nice people, very random people also.. Haha.. Not to mention some of them are very well to do.. =S God really blesses those who follow Him truly.. =)

In the end, it was an awesome trip.. Haha.. Seriously, if those Ipoh people weren't there, we did be bored till death.. LOL!! Very short summary for a 4 day trip rite? Lazy to type la.. Haha..

A day at the Historical City..

Wow, it was great to go back to Melaka after ancient of days.. XD Well, more like months.. Haha..

It's thanks to Wen Shan for actually inviting me down.. Thanks bro, owe u one!!

After early delays we finally managed to leave around 11am+.. Finally managed to meet Jingle in person as well as her friend Kit Yan.. Just talked about as we headed for Melaka where we met another 2 friends of WS, Shimron and Rachel.. Then itz a makan spree.. Haha..

Had quite nice Nyonya food with Chendol.. Followed by a walk around Melaka, well itz cheaper and I think much more healthier to walk rite? Haha.. Visited one museum, something with kites and those ancient traditions stuff.. Main agenda -> find an air cond place and boy did we stayed there for sometime.. Haha.. Next we were of to SFI to visit the Chapel.. Met Bro. Michael, it was good seeing him again after a year or so.. Hehe..

Thus next agenda Jonker street.. Well, we been walking for so much that we were all dead tired when we reached Jonker street.. After some window shopping and more chendol, we just head back to Shimron's place before going off for dinner at a nearby mamak (or Pakistani) shop.. Delicious Nan and Ayam Tandoori.. XD

Later on we head to the Pasar Malam at Kampung 8.. Just lepak, eat some more, bought some stuff, etc etc.. (more walking, urg...) And later on to Rachel's place before we head of to the Melaka river.. Well, according to the locals itz more of a giant longkang.. Haha.. Thus after dropping Rachel back home we head back to Seremban, reaching approximately 11.30pm

Oh, the adventure doesn't stop there.. When we were on the way back to WS house, a car was tailing us, and I mean really tailing us.. Scary man.. Luckily it went away and when we try to chase it, it vanished.. Guess lesson of the day: Be very careful of your surroundings..

Thanks to all of u guys and gals who made this trip very fun.. Had great company with u all.. And thank u Shimron for blabbing about Melaka true colours.. Haha.. Very interesting knowledge indeed.. Next agenda: Bringing my penang frens around S'ban-Melaka-KL next week.. XD

KL after 1 year...

Yesterday was the first time I actually went out after a week.. I was like u gotta be kidding me rite?? But oh well, better than nothing.. Haha..

This time I went to KL.. The idea, well, was to meet up with my KL frens and it was suppose to be a huge (ok, 15 is not huge but I like to megasize it.. XD) gathering with this AIMSTERS (not hamsters).. Sadly due to many unforseen circumstances, half of them couldn't make it.. Still, life went on as usual..

Being malaysians, we take pride in coming late.. Haha.. So kudos to the Penang guy who was first to the venue and kudos to the Kajang boy who came 1.5 hours later.. XD However, we had loads of fun, going crazy as usual.. Haha.. All things that happen was of pure randomness.. It was good to meet up with them.. So thank u to Joey, Eric, Kang Wei, Heoh Choor, Sheng and Michelle for making it to the gathering.. Also we all managed to see Joey's gf in person, so mission accomplished.. (never a mission to begin with) Haha..

Anyhow, for those who are still contemplating on whether to watch The Sorcerer's Apprentice or not, allow me to offer u this option.. If u dun watch it, u might as well dun call urself a movie goer.. XD Toodles!!

End of Year 1, start of the HOLIDAYS!! XD

At long last, this inactive blog shall become active again.. And to celebrate it, let me share the good news..

I HAVE OFFICIALLY PASSED MY FIRST YEAR IN MBBS!!! XD

Alright, now that's done, let's move on.. Hehe..

Reviewing back my 10 months or so in AIMST, it has been a roller coaster one.. A lot of stuff happened, new environment, getting involved in activities, got a gal, etc etc..

However, one thing is for sure, I never regretted the day that I put my foot down and say, "Look Jason, medicine is your dream, your passion. Stop whining like a pussy and get into AIMST to pursue your dream!!" Well, that happened after the disastrous local uni application results last June.. Wow, 1 year has passed.. Crazy..

So what is next for me?? Well, holidays is one thing for sure.. There's a Hillsong United concert coming up on 11th August at Suen Hotel, Ipoh.. Anyone going?? =) Then a road trip, I guess and back to AIMST.. LOL!! Pretty lame rite? Of course i'll be meeting up with frens and all.. Maybe I should start commenting on all the shit that has been happening lately, in our beautiful Boleh-land.. See how la..

MERDEKA!!!!

YEAH!!! FINALLY MY EXAMS IS OVER!!!!

Today was the final 2 papers for my CA2.. And here's the overview of those papers:

1) Immunology & Pathology
Paper was alrite.. I think I can score la.. I hope so.. 2 of the SAQs were a bit tough but hopefully everything goes smoothly..

2) Physiology
The final paper of all.. And the 2nd question was a killer.. Hopefully I did correctly, it's the only paper I'm hoping for distinction.. Oh well, results will be out like end of the month, we'll see then..

So there u go.. 3 updates on 6 papers I sat.. Now it's enjoy to the max followed by the start of my second term next Monday.. Time really flies, and before I know it CNY will be around..

Plus next Thursday onwards is a holiday till the following Monday.. Wakaka... Nice way to start the new year after the CAs.. Haha.. Well, off to bed now or more like playing games.. I sooooo need to catch up on my sleep.. >.<

1 week already??!!

Yeah.. I was looking at the calendar today and I was like "OMG!! My holidays are ending!! T.T"

Time pass really really fast.. I don't think I did much during this holidays except eat, sleep and play my laptop.. Tried to finish my assignments but they are still there, waiting to be touched.. LOL!! And my studies? Don't talk about them, haven't even really began to revise yet.. And I got 3 exams after my holidays.. Great..

Nothing much to update thou.. Other than manage to eat home cooked food (finally), sleeping till lunch time and er... Being very unproductive.. LOL!! Visited 2 friends over the Deepavali, thank you guys for inviting me over.. And also just going out with parents..

To all my friends who'll be having their exams soon, local unis especially, I wish u all the best.. Gambateh!! And to the others who are having holidays, enjoy it to the max (providing u don't have exams after ur holidays.. =p)

10 days holiday!

At last my one week (or 10 days) holiday has finally started!!

Yesterday received information in the afternoon that our exam for today was canceled (more like postponed). I was like "Again??!!" So was contemplating whether to stick with my current schedule which was to go back tonight or change the ticket.. In the end, I paid 4 bucks for yesterday's night ticket and now I'm back home!! =)

10 days holiday sounds like fun eh? NOT!! I got 2 assignments and now thanks to that postponement, 4 exams when I get back to uni.. Have to study and all.. Haiz.. So much for my holidays.. However, as for now, ENJOY FIRST!! XD

And some might ask, how was the exam? 3 words: Not Enough TIME!! So many questions, so little time.. Gosh.. OK, maybe it's been a while (like nearly a year) I've never sat for an exam.. So it'll take time to adjust.. However, this is an eye opener for me to what is to come next.. After all, 1st CA is supposedly 'the easiest'.

Btw, anyone going for the La Sallian dinner? If anyone is going do let me know.. I so wanna go!! Take care people!!
